Help - Keypad [Unanswered]

Hello guys,

umm im thinking of making a keypad lock for doors instead of pressureplates and redstone, etc... so im think a keypad lock which when rightclicked it will come up with numbers 0-9 and people will enter a 4 digit code to get access to the object... and also when placed the keypad will automatically ask the user to enter a 4 digit code for their lock...

so how would i actually go about making this?

I think it would have to be saved to a file- passwords.txt maybe? Then you use a filereader to see what the password is, check if the password is correct, and use an if statement to designate activities for each thing- pass wrong, pass right. Oh yeah, you need a gui too. And you would have to wrap all of this in an if statement to check whether there is already a password for that.
